Let’s just all take a moment to really admire the beautiful creation that is this “Banella Crepe”. (*5 second pause*) The picture really says it all, but I’ll still fill you in with the deets.
Just off of Walnut Street, Cafe Moulin is a quaint and cozy cafe serving up the best of both worlds with sweet and savory crepe menus. I mean, they also serve salads and healthier-ish things, but you really can’t experience this place without going all in on a crepe. The greens will have to take a backseat for this adventure. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even lunch, this Shadyside eatery is a hidden gem. (Literally, the space is in a basement.) Hit it up for a group brunch, a lunch date, or even a solo breakfast. A sweet crepe and their bottomless coffee make for the perfect morning if you ask me. My little secret: Sometimes I love dining alone. I don’t feel pressured to keep the conversation rolling and I can just enjoy my meal in my way and on my time. I highly recommend trying it!
